In the past few weeks, my husband and I have made some pretty big decisions, and soon we'll be moving to a new house.
This is a daunting task in itself. But with three young children"
I'm flat-out dreading it.
We had zero intention of moving about three weeks ago -- until a friend of my husband posted on social media that their home was for sale. Guys, it was just too perfect to pass up. So in a two-week span, my husband and I listed our home for sale, and then de-cluttered, cleaned, scoured, and scrubbed our house to make it look its best for showings. And then we did it again. And again. (Because children)
Basically, we made our current house look as if no one actually lived here, even though we have three children -- ages 6, 4, and 1 -- and three cats. It was no easy feat, but we pulled it off and accepted an offer this past weekend.
Now as I look forward to what's to come, I don't even know where to begin. How in the heck are we going to find time to pack up all of our belonging and keep up with our already crazy-busy schedules" I mean, my husband and I both work full-time. I drive two-thirds of my kids to and from school every day. There are piano lessons. And spring soccer is starting soon. And did I mention I'm training for two marathons in April, too"
Gahhhh!
Okay. First-world problems, for sure. *Deep breath*
