Internet trolls need to leave Lily Allen and her stillborn son alone

While glancing at my Facebook feed, I read that Lily Allen was recently trolled online by those who purport blame her for the stillbirth of her son in 2010. She is accused of having mental problems.
I paused to read the article. As a loss mom myself, I could feel the anger rise within in me. I considered moving on and ignoring the article ? why give the sadistic trolls what they are looking for" Attention. (The real genesis of the thread seems to rise out of Ms. Allen?s spirited defense of immigrants and refugees). These cowards were only going low. Screw 'em.
Best to move on, I thought.
Best not to give in to mean clickbait.
I tried to move on.
But I could not get away from this attack on Ms. Allen.

I am a fan of Lily Allen because she has been outspoken about how loss has shaped her. She has sung about the 6-month stillbirth of her son and the psychological fallout that followed as the result of his death.
Ms. Allen has been public about her ensuing struggle with post-traumatic stress disorder as the direct result of her loss. This is incredibly brave. It reveals her to have appropriate and absolutely understandable maternal reactions to the loss of a child. Put simply, she is clearly a great mum.
