Whether it's right or wrong I always laugh when I see a baby make an angry face. There's something about it that's just so cute. I remember feeling guilty for enjoying my firstborn's grumpy expressions. He would work so hard to contort his face into this old man grimace.

Why does this make me laugh" Even now, looking back at it, I am laughing all over again. I feel like it makes me a bad person, but I smile anyway.
My second child, a girl, mastered her mad face from an even younger age. She is a very lively, dramatic, emotional person and she is the life of the party, always. In this photo she was crying because she wanted a second cookie. She was 11 months old.
These days at almost 4 she's as likely to make a mad face over a second cookie as she is to be furious that her new pink sneakers aren't pink enough. Either way I still find her grouchy face simultaneously adorable and frustrating.
