We've all heard the "Daddy's little girl" cliché, but I've never given it a lot of thought.
I didn't give it much thought until my toddler, Kara, made it clear that she would knock me down to reach her daddy a little faster.
Kara lights up like the sun at the mere mention of Daddy, and while I do love seeing the sweetness and purity of her love for him, I have to admit that I am a little jealous and I wish she was as excited to be in my presence. Okay, I'm actually a lot jealous and I realize that makes me sound like a real winner (and whiner), but, come on, look at them!
